Women of Boys Empowerment Program-The BOSS Project

The C2G Women of Boys Empowerment Program-The BOSS Project supports five Connect to Greatness, Inc. moms to bring their passion projects to fruition as a 501©3 and become women BOSSES! The project provides business coaching sessions with an experienced African American/Black entrepreneur to help the women establish their non-profit’s purpose, mission, and vision. The coach will also assist the women with navigating the process to obtain their EIN, IRS determination, and other filing requirements. Each of the ladies will receive $500 to support the required filing and application fees in an effort to eliminate the financial barriers that can delay the process and discourage women from starting a business.

The C2G Women of Boys Empowerment Program-The BOSS Project impacts social change by providing African American/Black women with a unique opportunity to be mentored in a group and one-on-one by an entrepreneur in the community to help build their confidence, self-esteem, and potentially spurring economic development and job creation for other women and economic independence for themselves. The women will gain exposure to information/knowledge and resources to establish their non-profit businesses building their skills and confidence to become business leaders and turn their passion projects into reality. As a cohort, the women will discover the leader within themselves while supporting and inspiring each other as they become BOSSES together!
